#1: Steaming bonnet in the rain. Author: RockRulz, Location: Harlow, EssexPosted: Fri Feb 28, 2014 12:23 pm ---- My bonnet really steams in the rain and I have found out why.....there is a lining missing....the heat shield/noise dampner (whatever its called) that clips under the bonnet. Anyone know where I can get one from and how much it might cost me....Ive looked on ebay but can only find bonnets for a minimum of £78 and more.
Failing getting a proper one....is there an alternative I can get?

The bonnet will be worthless and you can then take the insulation material from that bonnet without being charged the cost of an arm and a leg.

Best thing is to ring around a few scrapyards or contact the sellers on ebay that are breaking cars and see if they have one.
