#1: Engine light question Author: 206gt160, Location: BlackburnPosted: Sat Mar 08, 2014 2:34 pm ---- My alternator is yet to be changed to the 180 alternator and is not charging my battery, so i get a battery light coming on, when I've started my car after around five or ten seconds the engine management light comes on.
1. Will this be because the battery is not charging or would the engine management light not come on for this?
2. I also need a map due to the 180 bits fitted so could it be coming on due to over fueling etc?
I don't have a fault reader for the pug only the Audi (well I have pp2000 just can't fathom it lol.. Help) so due to this I can not yet find out what the code is.
Any ideas on the 2 above
