Picked up the new car last month Smile

Decided I wanted a bit more power was getting bored of the diesel and with it coming up to the summer it was the perfect time to get the best price for my previous car (Convertible BMW)

So here it is...

Astra VXR in Arden Blue, 2010 (60) 26k on the clock.

Brought myself a Remus turbo back exhaust...

How it arrived

VXR Tip Very Happy

Me being me I wanted it cleaner so got to work...

Brought some Team Heko wind deflectors just waiting for them to arrive

Got it booked in at WG Motorworks on friday to have the 6th gear bearing replaced with a uprated one (just incase) as there is a common issue with the M32 gearbox's also while its there its getting a full service and the Remus fitted Very Happy

Thats all for now but I've got plenty more plans for it Wink

Thanks for looking Very Happy

Comments welcome...

Luke.

Very nice. Love the noise they make. My second car is an astra 1.9 cdti remapped. Built quality is lovely compared to the french. Shame the gearbox is made of cheese. Already had mine done along with clutch and dual mass flywheel

Wind deflectors add to the man driving round town with the window down image.

Haha can see where your coming from I did want a ST but this came up at a great price, even after a year or so once I'm bored ill sell it on and make a tidy profit so can't lose really.

Also aren't any hot hatches chavy?, 206's being up there with saxo's on the chav list.

The only thing in my eyes that lets this car down is the crappy chocolate box's they put in them hence why I'm getting the bearing uprated to help eliminate the problem.

Fair enough mate, heard of them boxes being a pain! But unfortunately around suffolk, every chav who had a saxo has one. I just have a shear passion against them!

Lovely car bud best colour as well, deff with you on this choice much better than a convertible bmw, yes you might look a little bit chavy but at least you dont look like every other muscle bound d**k from the gym trying to look rich in a clapped out e46! hha
