Backfiring exhaust

Hi there i have a 206 1.4GLX and since had a new exhaust and since this has been fitted my car has started backfiring alot can anyone advise what this may be and how to fix this?

Its because its a cheap aftermarket exhaust. Its only pops, not backfires

I paid alot for a new exhaust with it being new i wouldnt expect it to start making a horrible noise

is it an aftermarket/big bore exhaust or just a standard exhaust system?

then it isnt fitted properly, you have an engine problem or as addaz said, its a cheap part
