Surprised it moves lol.

I'm confused though is it actually a 180 or what? your sig and badge suggest it could be maybe with some sort of stealth exhaust but I thought it wasn't?

Looks nice and clean.

You might be right, But from the factory it wasn't actually a 180 Smile

Looks good. Smile

But that rear sticker looks odd to me, is it slightly out of place?

Aye, it's a Zest 2 that's had an engine conversion to a 180. Felt silly starting again when it would be cheaper to throw in an engine;)

Yeah, as are we, lol. Can't get full lock obviously but with some lovely stretched tyres I was able to tuck it enough to get round the corner:) may have to invest in some GTi 180 arches to get a bit better lock as there's not much to go with.

The minion sticker?:) I'm a fan of dispicable me:) not normally a fan of stickers at all, tried to think of a good position and that seemed the best. May take it off though as it does bother me slightly, haha

More than a ball ache, total pain getting on and off my drive, no matter around town. You know what solihull's like with speed bumps;)

Wow what's the insurance like with a 180 lump added as a modification?

Surely it would have been cheaper and less hassle to just buy a silver 180 and sell the zest?

Bet you love the difference in powahz!

Like the first two pics they are pretty cool Smile

Quite like the fact you've put all the work in on it, and its turned out nicely too.

I guess another benefit of the engine swap is the tax, i imagine the zest tax isnt anywhere near the price of a 180's lol.

I paid my insurance up front for the year and when I mentioned it to them they just modified the insurance and didn't request any more money.... I'm not arguing!! £1800 at 18 is good with me! fingers crossed they don't do me over next year, haha:p

The time and effort to put my zest back to standard would have probably been the same as just wacking a 180 in. I didn't really want to start again as I love what I got:)

Cheers, Dan:) I feel it was well worth the time and effort! and about the tax, I'm pretty sure I've got to announce the engine change to DVLA and then request another tax disk at the correct amount... Need to look into it more:\ sure is a brain ache, lol
