I asked this question in the shout box but it appears to have been removed, so I'll ask it again.

I've been offered a pair of wing mirrors from a GTi 180 with the carbon caps for £60, is this a fair price for these?

I know some time ago they where quite expensive second hand but just wanted to hear others opinions.

Thank you

Sounds like a good price £30 each I doubt you would get them any cheaper. Aslong as they all still work (fold in)

I have a 2004 5 door sport.

Would I be correct in saying that, In order to fit the wing mirrors so they fold in, I would need both door looms and the electric mirror switch plus the function activated with PP2000?

I need to buy a new driver and passenger door, so all this could be done at the same time I swap the doors over.

Yes I believe thats right, as yours won't have any of the wiring there for the electric mirrors, I think there was a how to on here at some point ill have a little look.

Thanks for that pal..

I have a few things I need to sort out on the car but adding these looms will be pretty straight forward since I have to take the doors off.
