#1: Squeeking from the front D/S wheel. Author: Vexs, Location: LondonPosted: Sun Mar 23, 2014 3:52 pm ---- On my way to work this evening encountered a squeeking noise coming from the front drivers side wheel. Havent had time to really look to see if there's any problems, but any common faults I should perhaps look in to?
It seems to only occour when turning left and completly stops when the wheels are straightened up or turning right.
Also worth noting had the brakes and discs replaced about a month ago, so unlikey to be the problem and defiently not mistaking it for any of the belts as these where all changed about 2 months ago.
Thanks in advance!

Mu other thought would be to jack it up and see if there is any play in the wheel bearing

It can be any colour but you ought to be able to see some sign of grease like substance on the rear of the pads. It should be a very thin film not a thick application so look closely.
Changing pads without this can be a routine cause of squeal.
