As my 206 has blown it's head gasket and needs money spent for the MOT (top mounts and brake pipes) so it is time to get rid.

Anyone know how much it is worth in scrap?

Cartakeback are only offering £75 collected.

Local place to me gave £100 for my van with mot but had engine faults. And £30 for one of my old 206 non running with loads of bits removed (that included them collecting.)

Depending if you've got the time ,tools and the head is ok you could replace the gasket yourself. There's loads of videos on YouTube to help you and if it goes wrong you can still scrap it and at least you've had a go.

£75 is a good sum seeing as the amount of work needed to scrap a car to meet the relevant environmental laws isn't cheap.

Tried Ebay but just got the time waster non paying bidder types. Offered it to 2nd and 3rd best bids but they weren't interested either.

Someone has offered £90 for it with full DVLA notification of scrap certificate.
