#1: Help identify part 206 gti Author: 5redlights, Posted: Tue Apr 01, 2014 1:55 pm ---- Hi
My alternator belt and tensioner broke, and in replacing it it's become clear that a bracket has broken, but I don't know what it is. It's attached to the engine, so looks like an engine support bracket. However, I've tried to search for this part using this wording, and it doesn't exist.
Here's a link with the photo - can anyone tell me what it is?

Sorry, it's actually what the tensioner attaches to.
I've circled the part in this diagram. Can anyone tell me the part?

Unfortunately when the alternator belt and tensioner went, it looks like it's take this with it.
Any idea where I would get one without having to buy a whole engine?
