#11: Re: Whats a GT worth with a blown lump?? Author: Schumi, Location: Istanbul / TurkeyPosted: Sun Apr 13, 2014 4:33 pm ---- God I hate car prices at my country. You need to pay 1500-2000£ for crashed and rolled totally useless 206gti. A decent GTI180 worth 6500 £.
#12: Re: Whats a GT worth with a blown lump?? Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Mon Apr 14, 2014 2:19 am ---- So could we make a living driving 206 GTI's to Turkey? and selling them there?
#13: Re: Whats a GT worth with a blown lump?? Author: Schumi, Location: Istanbul / TurkeyPosted: Mon Apr 14, 2014 9:18 am ---- Do you think our government so stupid ? They are stupid but not that much. Importing second hand cars older than 3 year forbidden. Importing second hand / used engine block forbidden.
Lots of very rich tuner / users want to import Supra's, Skyline's or similars cars but there is no way. Just over 35 years cars can be import as classic cars and import VAT for classic car is %650 I'm writing again %650.
When I get my GTI 180 it was 2 years old and 28.000 km. I paid nearly 7500£ at May 2008. Also I have import papers when its brand new. Import VAT for brand new cars with engine cylinder between 1801cc and 2000cc is %171
So cars in expensive, spare parts expensive, scrapyards and used parts from crashed cars expensive. Thats why I get lots of parts from UK.
