Noob diesel question

Hi

Total noob question but I remember all us years ago talking about the diesel 206 models.

Which one is the "ideal" one to get again? (I.E. having better engine/less issues).

Was it the 1.6 HDi? Vaguely rings a bell but cant remember!

The 1.6 would be the one to avoid. Turbo fails, DMF, Anti-pollution faults.

the 2.0 is the bullet proof diesel engine

2.0 HDi is the best ,you going for diesel ? Wink

1.6 Hdi I prefer but you have to make sure they are serviced correctly otherwise you can have big issues!

By quicker and more economical engine than the 2.0's

I think im settled for the 2.0 haha!
Found one identical to my petrol - ie. Aegean blue, SP kit etc! Laughing

Yes, need diesel for work.
