#1: Help needed from Quick Silver owners. Author: Paul76, Location: Andover PostPosted: Wed Apr 16, 2014 12:23 pm

Hi there.

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding the front end on a Peugeot 206 Verve. I have a progress thread in the 206 talk section.

I am having problems sourcing the the body panels in EZR Aluminium Silver. There are countless 206 's being broken on part Shark but they just list as Silver.

I know there are different Silvers in the 206 range so I want to make sure I get the correct shade of Silver.

If there are any Quick Silver owners around here who could be so kind to check the paint code which should be located on a sticker located on the pillar behind the drivers door.

I am asking because some people are listing the Quick silver range as platinum Silver (EYC) and others as Aluminium Silver ( EZR ).

Thanks for reading.

Kind regards

Paul.

That's because the Quicksilver was available in 2 different shades of Silver depending on the age so there was 2 different paint codes.

Go by the paint code to match your car.

Hi there. The problem I've got is there are many Quicksilvers being broken without the specific paint code. I've called the breakers up and they're not helpful. They're just listing them as Silver.

Could you please elaborate on the different paint codes based on age please? I take it you mean the later ones were EZR and the earlier ones EYC?

If so, do you know what year they started rolling off the production line in EZR?

Many thanks.

I've got a 51 plate Quicksilver and it's EYC - I think they changed in 2003 but don't quote me on that.

I've noticed a lot of quicksilvers with CC'd bumper strips are in EZR so maybe use that to work it out

Cheers Tony and Drift. I think you're correct that they swapped over in 2003. Although there is Quicksilvers in 2003 with EYC silver. I'm thinking I should be safe with anything 2004 and over.

It is possible that the change came when the face lift happened in September 2003

Two standard wings without the flares( although I might be interested in the gti wings as beggars cannot be choosers! ) Bonnet, Grille and colour coded sport/ Gti bumper preferably with the spot lights.

Can you help?
