Exhaust specs - GTi 180. HELP!

Hi guys,

Can anyone please tell me what the factory/standard exhaust specs are on the 180?

1. Exhaust pipe dimensions or diameter?
2. Exhaust pipe material? i.e stainless steel/mild steel etc

A friend has picked up a bargain GTi 180 but it needs some TLC.

He wants to keep it as original as possible and match the factory one, hence my question.

The original muffler looks to be in good condition.

3. Is it just a matter going to an exhaust shop to replace the pipe?

4. Would changing just the exhaust pipe with the same dimensions change the exhaust note?

5. Are there any exhaust pipe brand recommendations?

6. Can you get genuine exhaust pipe pieces from Peugeot?

Sorry for all the questions, would really appreciate any advice on this one to pass on to a new Pug owner.

Many thanks in advance.

the original ones rust like you wouldn't believe, which is why people tend to go for either a scorpion /janspeed / powerflow. Very Happy

I think that's what has happened here.

Hoping to get some specs of the exhaust pipe Smile
