This is Kevin the Peugosnot

This is my 1.4 HDI bought for the fortune of £275 as you can imagine at that price it was spotless other than the dents, ruined front end and general riffyness. I am an indecisive w***er but i've decided to tart it up once payday comes around. New bushes, front discs and pads and a possible conversion to a GTI back axle are my first stops after i've replaced the dented door and wing.

Then I plan to play with the engine but am undecided on the best route to take, and of course the original person I am i'm looking at a set of Nimrods and phase 2 lights to go into it as well as a GTI 180 interior but perplexed as how to get rear door cards that match a GTI interior.

All feedback, advice and how much of a idiot I am is all welcome, cheers guys Very Happy

I just put the gti half leather in my 5 door which originally had the blue trim in it which I found abit odd as the cars red but that's pug for you. I just got hold of some black trimmed door cards out one of the newer 206 sport model and they look good.

You can get hold of gti doorcards for a 5 door.
Very rare now though but found on the glx. Smile Or you could do custom doorcards in which case there is a how to on here about it. Smile

Definitely need new alloys got a set of Wolfrace alloys off a Ford with stupid spacers, rubbish tyres and a bent alloy. Looking to get a set of 205/45/16 nimrods and have them powder coated. Its a toss up between a leather CC interior or a 180 interior, just gonna get black door cards or the colour of a tarts handbag if I get a CC interior. That can wait tho and will come much later down the line need a offside top hat and bottom steering arm and an exhaust bracket. Considering a custom exhaust but obviously being a diesel have to be careful not to lose back pressure.

Do the nimrods give better handling as I the skinny tyres arent wide enough and make me think the car is going roll or skid out

Working at s**t Fit there are a few blokes who know a thing about tuning, got put in touch with a diesel tuning expert. He says with a front mounted big intercooler, a hybrid turbo, inlet and outlet work, panel filter, straight through, BMW fuel pump, modified injector nozzles and a aggressive remap I could get 200 bhp plus. I'm now mulling whether to go that way, obviously a tough clutch and a gearbox swap or custom rebuild is a must as well as major handling and braking upgrades but it excites me. Back to reality and tomorrow i'm fetching a pair of rear shocks and a nearside drop link, would post pictures but who wants to see what everybodys seen before?

Plus i'm sacking the Nimrods off, getting a set of 205 speedlines instead and with an Eibach kit on the front dropping it it should look tasty

Since I last posted the car has had a full service, debadged and a new set of shoes Smile Really surprised me I expected the Speedlines to look a bit silly without the car being lowered but they really suit the car and go well with the colour! Different to the standard choice of Nimrods!

Fitting a drop link first thing in the morning the banging from the front is intolerable! As for more mods I'm looking at changing the front headlights already got a pair of rear dark lexus lights on the way a cold air intake coming and its off next week to be measured up for a custom stainless exhaust then on to a remap!

Also looking to fit a new interior the standard seats are crippling and cannot be dealing with them, also considering sticker bombing my door cards for something different than the norm
