#1: Is my exhaust sitting too low? GTi 180 Author: cheekyage, Location: AustraliaPosted: Sun May 25, 2014 5:06 am ---- Hi all,
After a quick repair on my exhaust the twin tailpipes seem to be sitting a little further downward than normal.
It looks like they are pointing slightly downward and there is too much gap between the twin tailpipes and rear bumper.
I do remember there was always a slight gap but now when I look at it my hand can reach to the rear of the chrome tailpipes and can see the muffler mounting brackets.
Prior to the exhaust fix, this was not the case.
Here are a couple of pics.
Would appreciated your thoughts and feedback

you can either change it for a scorpion or janspeed or just buy some superpro exhaust mounts off ebay, only £13 posted

No shaking or movement at all. All has been mounted firmly and correctly.

The centre pipe was replaced with a brand new and genuine Peugeot one (part number 1717S9)
All has been fitted to original spec with the original mountings and brackets in located in the same place.
