#1: 180 no power lot of induction noise Author: jaybee, Location: englandPosted: Sun May 25, 2014 9:18 am ---- my missus has been using car for last 3 weeks comes home yesterday saying no power loud noise from n/s/f,takes it for a drive and she,s right well down on power and a noise like i've got an open cone filter on it,checks all air filter pipes including one behind wheelarch liner all on notice water dripping from very bottom of filter is it charcoal canister? anyway drills 1/8 hole in it and gets about a cupfull of water out of it puts a screw in it goes out again no change,starts fine no warning lights just accelerates very very slowly when you put your foot down and you get induction noise at same time any body got any ideas?

Check your filter, change if wet, check your lugs possibly? Do you still have your wheel arch in place? That's where the air box draws it's air in.
