#1: Loose Wing Mirror Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Wed Jun 04, 2014 10:00 am ---- This issue started when I bought the car when someone drove into the passenger mirror whilst folded in, only in the last 2 weeks has the top part of the wing mirror started to shake quite bad whilst driving. It is only the top half of the mirror and still folds in.
Haven't really got time to take it apart so just want to know if it's fixable or if I need to buy a new mirror?

Possible the clips have broken. If you aren't going to be changing the colour of the caps, then a bit of strong adhesive would probably do the trick.

Have a read up and it looks like the top part of the main mirror is screwed to the bottom half

Also cuz they fold/unfold many times during the day, that makes a small play in the toothed plastic inside cuz of age and wear out.

so replacement mirror needed then?
