Ariel loose... No way to tighten it?

Hey guys... After all my car has been through (£2300 worth of repairs.... But that's for another thread) yet ANOTHER issue has surfaced.... My Ariel is so loose and it's letting water into my car, leaking through the interior lights... I've taken the light panel off and there's no bolt under it to tighten up the ariel.. There's a battery-like thing there that's solid but does move slightly when the ariel moves.
Now I'm gonna take it to Peugeot tomorrow to see if they can sort it but for a temp repair (not stopped the leak) I've tied chicken wire to it and fastened it over my doors and then onto my rear view mirror.

Just wondering if there's anything I can do to prevent the leak as it's been raining recently in Manchester and I don't fancy cleaning puddles from my centre console

I'll try to add pictures when I get them uploaded to photobucket or something

The nut that secures the aerial base to the roof is under the aerial amplifier cap, that bit has to be unclipped first.

Remove the aerial base & a small ring of clear silicone sealant around the hole & then refit the areal base is the fix, has been for the last 20+ years that PSA have had this design issue.
