Morning,

Is the heater cold sometimes? I ask because if it were me i'd bleed the cooling system to get rid of sir locks.

Timon wrote a guide here: www.206info.co.uk/Foru...56271.html

Might also be worth checking that there isn't any leaves or something blocking the radiator.

Regards, Richard.

Blocked radiator symptoms are usually its fine up to a certain point but the faster you go the hotter it gets. The on/off scenario could be a clue. It can't get much hotter when its not running. I'd get the radiator checked and bleed it up.

Everything is working properly on my car, cooling system, fans, switches, the lot.

However - the heat transfer into the cabin on a really hot day is starting to wear a little thin. I am also not too happy about cooking everything under the bonnet to death which can only lead to other problems.

Has anyone done anything to reduce under bonnet temperatures that has made a significant difference. Like I said the engine is not overheating while driving so I am not talking about fan mods, I am looking for other ideas/suggestions.

If its getting realy very hot under the bonnet, and you say the engines not overheating, and the cooling system is working properly, please tell me where the heats coming from, realy would like to know.

Any engine will be hot, even in the winter? Don't see what your getting at if nothing wrong.

Where do you live? Do you have air con.
