Was suggested here by a friend and was really impressed cracking road to drive on well worth a visit if you're localish!

Used to use it a lot on the run from Patterdale to Ambleside. Managed to be the last vehicle through it a few years ago before the police closed it due to snow. That was a hair raising drive as it dropped down towards Windermere
