Hi guys,

So excited, today I went to look at a 1.4 206 Look. I'll be getting it on Monday.

I've had a 1.1 206 LX since October, but the power is going and I'm not enjoying driving as much as I used to.

I'm getting the 1.4 Look on Monday, and I'm super excited. Just wanted to let you guys know.

-Jord

You'll soon get to the stage where a 1.4 isn't enough Razz

I find the TU3 nippy enough when driven correctly, it's only top end OR very steep hill's where the lack of overall power is sometimes noticeable.

There's no doubt it's a great engine, I have it myself. But for over taking numpties going slow you want it to be a bit safer. Very Happy

Oh, I forgot to mention; my 1.1 can't get past 60 unless it's down a hill Very Happy

I'm hoping that the 1.4 can actually get to the speed limits this time Wink

Believe me, there's a huge difference from the 1.1! I've been driving it around today and all I can say is holy s**t.

There isn't a huge difference, the only real noticeable difference is the TU3 has more top end over a TU1 but both can do licence loosing speed easy enough.

Your TU1 206 had a problem, a 206 TU1 isn't normally as slow as you make out.

I know it's not normally as slow, there's something wrong with my one, hence the upgrade Razz

Totally agree, my 1.1 is really eager and although it's my first car and i've had it for a while its still quite fun. Below 2500/3000 it's really lacking any sort of power but once its above 3000 I think its definitely not bad. As long as you haven't got any passengers Laughing Razz

I'd love to see if it would get to 100. Can anyone else with a 1.1 tell me the fastest they've gone?

My thoughts when I first put my toe in (after fixing a leaking, cracked injector) in my 1.6HDi after upgrading from a 1.25 LX Fiesta...

Trust you're enjoying the extra 300cc then?!

You have no idea my friend!

Been meticulously cleaning it, added Fli Speakers to the front doors, will be adding them to the rear doors later. Wiring the sub when I get paid and changeing wheels, rear lights, headlights and pedals!
