#1: where do your pipes go? Author: thekatybomb81, Posted: Wed Aug 06, 2014 6:38 am ---- I have a 1.4hdi style. 2002. It failed mot on few things but all resolved now. Apart from one. Power steering pipe split and leaking. I kinda knew because of oil patch on drive. The problem I have is...... I have taken the pipes (rack is ok) off a car identical to mine but it was possibly a year younger. The power steering pipes on my car seem to have an extra loop that drops down behind the horn (behind front of bumper) and back up. The pipes I have off scrap car don't have this extra loop. I think it might be a cooling feature for the pipes. Ive googled and searched and I cant find any with the extra loop. Ive told garage to fit the pipes I supplied and if there's any problems then its on my head. If any of you have a car same as mine please can you have a look and see where your pipes are. Thank you in advance katy
