#1: How to make temp to go below 90 celsius? Author: melwong, Posted: Sun Aug 10, 2014 8:13 pm ---- Before i changed to a new thermostat, my 206 temp is hanging around 80. After I changed to a new one, it's now always 90. Is that normal? I'm living in a tropical climate area so I prefer the temp to be lower.
And is it safe to remove the thermostat so that the temp could go below 90?

You should also notice the fuel consumption now gets better now the engine is running at the correct temperature.

And NEVER EVER remove the thermostat,as it should be ALWAYS there so the cooling system works best, and if you remove it,you will start problems that you don't want.trust me.
