Need some help with measurements...

#1: Need some help with measurements... Author: LNHalton PostPosted: Mon Aug 11, 2014 10:56 am
    ----
Hi guys, I'm after buying a new bonnet as mine is damaged to the point where a new bonnet and a re-spray will be cheaper than the dent repairs...

BUT, the closest bonnet I can find is in Leeds (I'm in Manchester) and is pick up only... Would a 206 bonnet fit in a 3dr 206 boot? With the rear seats down?

Has anyone had any experience with it or?

Thanks!

Yes it will fit no problem. Just have to get the angle right to get it in the boot.

Surprised Leeds is the closest to Manchester. I can think of 3 or 4 places that will have decent ones in within 10 miles of North Manchester. If you're lucky they might even have the right colour in.

I found it on eBay, Macca... Where do you reckon I'll find a very good condition one for about £30? (No dents or rust)

Don't know about prices, but you'll save a bit on fuel.
Bury Salvage
Metro Salvage in Bolton (Windley Street not Waterloo Street)
Gadburys in Atherton
Pugbitz in Denton
Failsworth Auto Spares

Most of these specialise in Peugeots or French cars or have had good stock in the past..
