#32: Re: 206 1.4 HDi SW Author: dsiingh, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Wed Jan 14, 2015 8:01 am ---- Get it look after it remap it. I've got a 1.4hdi two door. And my dad has a 1.4 sw petrol. Both of which haven't caused any problems. The rear axle went on my dads car. That was about it. Its my second 206. Will I get another one? Yes. I'm considering a 1.6 hdi with dpf removed and remapped.
#33: Re: 206 1.4 HDi SW Author: Orta, Location: GranthamPosted: Sun Mar 01, 2015 9:55 am ---- So the auris is gone so will be sw shopping very shortly. So I'm looking for faulty rear washer and screen, rear beam (camber), faulty stalks, intermittent main beams
Then the usual turbo blue smoke, clutch etc. will be checking it has the connectors for the throttle/clutch as per cruise control thread as this is something I'm definitely interested in adding.
When looking into paperwork etc, what actually are the service intervals on the 1.4 hdi?
When is the Cambelt/timing belts meant to be changed? When are aux belts meant to be changed? Any other big ticket belts/etc items that perish over time that I should be making sure have been done?

Standard issue regarding the rear wiper i'm in the middle of fixing mine. Stalks will be the COM2000 (need to change whole unit - maybe the main beam issue? - unless you have auto lights?)
Rear beam...again be standard issue, If your cant find a replacement SW one, a hatchback one fits...thats what I'm running until I rebuild the SW one.

Dash display states 12k (I think) I do my high milage 1.4HDi at around 8K (Oil and Filter + Air Filter, maybe pollen) Every other service I'd do the Diesel filter.

Don't actually know this, took an original off the old man's at 100k, back along and it looked fine (quite a wide belt)
When are aux belts meant to be changed?
I'd go on condition tbh.

Check front brake flexi pipes, I've had to do a couple on 206s before.
Rear load sensing valve/lever seizes.
General wear n' tear then.
