A Quick Steering "is it normal" question
-> 206 Problems

#1: A Quick Steering "is it normal" question Author: badj, Location: Wiltshire PostPosted: Sat Sep 06, 2014 10:33 am

Just wondering if anyone else's steering sort of 'clunks' when you stop turning the wheel.

Had a quick check of the fluid and topped that up.

Last car I had was more modern electric steering, so as the 206 has a more archaic pump, I've forgotten where this was normal or not.

Can possibly just about hear it in this vid. Excuse the oily hands, been under the bonnet!
