#1: 206cc Please would some kind soul measure their ride height? Author: Zash, Location: EnglandPosted: Mon Sep 15, 2014 3:22 pm ---- Hi fellas,
I am about to have my rear axel replaced. Unfortunately, my car has been lowered. IM Axles are kind enough to adjust the torsion bars to the drop you want before sending the refurbished axle out. The problem is that I don't know how much my car has been dropped by.
Measuring from ground to directly underneath where the jack would be positioned to lift the rear wheel (red arrow):
On my car, I have 103mm.
A standard 206 (non cc) gives 197mm.
Please would some kind soul measure their unmodified height of their 206cc to tell me the value? Then it would be a simple case of subtracting your value from my value to arrive at the drop needed
I have been all around my town looking for another 206cc t measure against but non of the little beauties can be found
I would really appreciate any assistance!
Kind regards,
--Zash

Depends on where you measure it from mate, hence why I included a diagram of where I took the measurement.
That spec you pointed to probably shows dimensions from the lowest point in the car- perhaps mid of bottom of the engine some place

As a side note, I spent that little bit extra for a new axle (£290 delivered) and you don't have to faff with sending the old one back (which you do with the refurbed ones)

You are of course correct, but my front springs are adjustable coilovers, the set height of which I do not know.
