#1: New 2nd hand car problems Author: sparks_vfr, Posted: Thu Sep 18, 2014 11:18 am ---- Hi All,
have managed to pick up a 1999 206 1.6 for my daughter in pretty good condition, however, there are one or 2 problems.
Main one is there is an intermittent problem sometimes it'll tickover other times not, smells a bit fuelly when it's having these problems.. Have heard that there is a common fault with an idle valve or something like that, have attached a pic (bottom) of what I think it may be, am I right ?
Other problem is there is a breather from the cam cover to the intake pipe... It's goosed, am guessing this could cause tickover probs as well due to it sucking in air ... Any ideas where I can get this pipe from..
Thanks
Simon
