Can someone please talk me through how you change the rear reversing lights. I take it you have to take the clusters out but cant get access to them

If you pull back the carpet either side you'll see a black plastic wing nut by the wiring connector. Undo those and the lights will pull out giving you access to the bulbs

So its just 1 nut on each light?

Yup.

There's only a locating lug for the furthermost side. Just undo the one plastic nut and it'll come free - it might need a bit of a wiggle, as the weather/moss tends to keep them securely in place!

Mind the locating pin that fits into the wing/body at the frontmost corner ...

Probably the switch on the gearbox.

Common to fail tbh

You don't need a reverse light for MOT, so depends how much it bothers you.

Easiest way to check would be to disconnect the plug from the reverse switch and bridge the contacts.
