#1: Tailgate replacement Author: Mattsard, Posted: Sat Oct 04, 2014 10:14 am ---- Hi, a friend has bought her daughter a 2005 206, 1.1 sport 3door as her first car. The rear tailgate is not in great condition. Would a tailgate from a 5 door fit? And is it easy enough to do? I'm no master mechanic but can find my way round a car, my main query is about the wiring is it on a plug or am I in for a load of soldering?
Also the 12v needs replacing, is access via the gear stick gator and shoving my hand in the gap?
Thanks very much

The 12v socket is easier to get to if you remove the trim behind/around the handbrake. The other option is to pop out the window switch and struggle through the hole. Last edited by macca1411 on Sat Oct 04, 2014 12:19 pm; edited 1 time in total
