#33: Re: 206 2.0 HDI D-Turbo, slow progress Author: Imelliot, Location: East Ayrshire, ScotlandPosted: Mon Mar 02, 2015 9:06 am ---- Work was nice and quite so gave me a good opportunity to give the car a good clean up and take alot of pictures, I also De-badged it
and not to forget the before and after picture
Im quite happy on how far the car has came since i got it and the difference it's made to it but there's so much more to do still

#35: Re: 206 2.0 HDI D-Turbo, slow progress Author: Imelliot, Location: East Ayrshire, ScotlandPosted: Thu Apr 30, 2015 1:12 pm ---- Ok so i've not really been keeping this up to date as much so a little catch up is needed!
To start i put on a Ram Air induction kit don't have any pictures for some reason but it has a nice sound do it
So this is how it was sitting at the time
and then this happened......
so the car was left like this for a while :'(
But £40 later i got the alloy back 1 crack 1 bend 3 buckles, I honestly don't know what i hit or what even happened to it
A got a Pioneer MVH-x560BT headunit fitted but no pictures really but then again its just a headunit
Closest thing i have haha
at this point i was eager to do something with the front of the car and wanted some morettes but a Focus ST came into my work with some fly eye and it looked really good so just done that for the meantime might even keep it this way
Then i came across a guy on facebook selling a GTI 180 interior that was spotless and he was wanting £200 for it i gave him a offer of 140 and he took it so that weekend i was off to loch lomand for my new interior about a 65 mile drive each way
And on the drive home i decided to take the backroads instead of the boring motorway since it was a good day and came across this amazing view!
Then it was time to fit the interior
So yeah thats about it for now, what i'm still planning on doing is
GTI 180 wheels
SP grill
front lowered a little more
new rear lights
interior lighting
De-cat
paint calipers red
stage 3 paint correction
EGR delete
Remap
So far i'm loving the pug and its definitely not going anywhere in a hurry and i have to give it its dues its been reliable only thing thats went wrong is a crank shaft pulley and rear axle so not to bad especially for a 14 year old french car doing 1800 miles a month

#38: Re: 206 2.0 HDI D-Turbo, slow progress Author: Imelliot, Location: East Ayrshire, ScotlandPosted: Wed Jul 15, 2015 4:26 pm ---- Im back and going to be making alot of changes in the next few weeks so should be a bit more active on here:)
Not much has changed with the car Got 2 front wheel bearings done and 2 front wishbones replaced.
I was getting board of the look of the car so im going to go down a completely different route with it, So far ive been doing everything black and just darkening the car right out but im going to come away from that and do something different.
So to start with i took the alloys off and me and 2 mates went to the poundshop yes poundshop and bought some white paint, primer and clear coat spent about £12 got home got the sander out out and painted my alloys
This was the results:
The alloys actually look brand new apart from the bend that one has but yeah £12 to paint 4 alloys cant complain at that haha.
Im also planning on taking the fly eye off the front and tinting the fogs yellow and then buying upgraded bulbs as i cant see sh*t with the current ones need to try get a grill from somewhere to. Also thinking of doing a conversion to lug nuts just because i think they look better and give my calipers another paint.
This year im going to save as much as i can and get the car perfect also needing a machine polish its really faded. im short of ideas just now so if you have any throw them at me

Was every spray can a pound then in the poundshop? My next shopping it is for the project budget :))

Thanks and yep every can cost a pound, The gloss black is quite similar to the actual color of the car so im going back for some black to do my plasic trim and door handles also im not sure how the paint holds up with alloy cleaner i've not wanted to try it. Going to do them in gun metal gray soon so will try some alloy cleaner before i redo them to see how they hold up

When i first put them on it wasn't effected after a few month it got worse and worse eventually couldn't see at night not sure what to do with the front now? it's to plain looking
