#1: HELP Please!! Author: shawady PostPosted: Fri Jan 02, 2015 2:00 pm
    ----
Hi everyone, im a new member here and ive just bought a 2002 206 gti s16 the car was fairly cheap and had a few little problems that i have been able to solve myself or with the help of some friends.

But im struggling with one small issue and i cant seem to find an answer online anywhere, my oil temp gauge does not work at all, not even a twitch. So im just wandering if anyone has any ideas what it could be?

I imagine it must be an issue with either the sensor, the wiring or the gauge itself.

Ive tried looking everywhere for answers but i dont know where the sensor is located?? once i find that it will make it easier for me to find the issue. Im trying to do most of the work myself so any help would be very much appreciated.

Cheers Steve.

The best thing to do in this case is to have it diagnostic with PP2000,you can see if there is any fault with the switch itself,or it's wiring,or if it's the gauge itself,as you can perform an actuator test on the dial and see if it works or not.
