#1: Please help!!! 2003 206 Look Author: Eblandie, Posted: Sat Jan 03, 2015 8:00 am ---- Hi there, my daughters 206 recently broke down and wouldn't start. I investigated with the help of my father in law and found the timing belt needed changing. We have done this and the car still won't start.. The starter motor engages and all the crank and engine is engaging but still no joy. Eco mode is displayed on dash. Will diagnostics be my best bet. Any help would be much appreciated.

I would do a proper compression test on each cylinder first to identify which cylinder or cylinders are affected. You may find a second hand head cheaper if there are more than two cylinders affected.
I am assuming that your father in law knows his stuff and its possible to replace the damaged valves if there are only a few bent
