Currently own a 2005 pug 206 1.1 and stuck with the awful 14inch tornade alloys.
fancied fitting a set of 15inch sciroccos or 15 inch saxo vts alloys.
Will either of these fit? i am worried about the offset and the effect on the speedo, shocks, ride, alignment etc etc.
Also does anyone have pics of a 206 with the vts alloys so I cna see what they look like??
Am I better of just refurbing the tornades?

Speedo will only be affected if you don't switch to the correct profile tyre on the bigger diameter rim and keeping the overall rolling diameter of the wheels the same (or within a few % of the original wheels). Here's a tyre calculator where you cam compare different tyre sizes.
For instance, 195/60-15 is the exact same diameter as 185/70-14
What width you can use depends on the width of the rim, see here.
Shocks might be affected by the difference in unsprung weight, but a mere 14"->15" shouldn't be a problem (I switch seasonally between 15 and 17.)
I'd guess you'd feel a difference in ride, but with 15" rims there's still a fair amount of sidewall, so shouldn't be that harsh...
Offset: if Scirrocos from a 206 then it shouldn't be an issue. Otherwise the offset / ET is usually stamped/cast into the metal at the back side of the rim, just check the ones you intend to buy. If they have a higher offset, it can be compensated with spacers, but I'd certainly prefer to be able to do without. If you do go with spacers - use bubcentric ones (places the load ob the centre stub instead of on the bolts which are there just to keep the rim on the hub, not actually carry the car)

I assume my local tire fitter will know the correct tire to fit?

Should be, if meant for the 206 - don't know if Peugeot did the same style for other models, but such a Scirroco might have a different offset. So double check the offset (I think there's a list of Pug OEM rims somewhere here on the site which might help).
Beware The rims might have a different type of seat (Shape of the surface mating with the bolt (flat, conical or spherical)) compared to your current ones.
Make sure you have the proper bolts for the rim in question.
If your tyre guy is even remotely competent he should be able to figure out the required size.
But play around with the tyre calculator and you'll probably figure out what size you need yourself. This link might help too.

I think the scirrocco wheel has a different offset than the tornade.
More I think about it the more im toying with a nice refurb.

I doubt you'll have anything to worry about. I changed up from 15'' Siroccos to the 17'' Vortexs with no issues.

Still undecided on what to do. I maynsave hassle and get the tornades refurbed but i hate the way the sit so far into the wheel arches, they look to small for the car.
15 inches would be better
