First: I have a 206 GTi 140 and I have seen around the 'net some called a 206 2.0 S16. Are they the same car?
Second: Is the standard 206 gear linkage the same as on the GTi 140?

Im told there the same car .
I get cross ref on some parts listed on websites for the gti-6 ..
Come up as s16 but defo wont fit a ew10j4 .
Think only the 180 has different gearlinks as there cable .
Im pritty sure all others are the same . Careful where you order from ive needed to cut and weld some to fit . Listed on sites as fits all models short or long option gearlinks . Had adjustable ones sent too . All worked .
