#1: Car Battery Author: DREWDEN, Location: huddersfieldPosted: Thu Jan 15, 2015 6:52 pm ---- Been having the classic airbag fault, and handbrake fault when starting her up in the mornings, whilst owning my peugeot for 7+ years now, i know this to be a sign of a new battery time.
The battery i have on the car at the moment is a bosch 60AH, which is 3.5 years old, thought it would last me for another year at least.
Been searching for prices etc, come accross a Vetech 55AH £60 from GFS, are these any good, seems a bit cheap to me.
Would appreciate if anyone knows of any good deals at the moment.
Is there a big difference in the 55AH and 60AH

The Varta D15 is the correct battery for a 206 HDI 2.0 & will come with a 5 year warranty.

Ahhh too late, Not enough power in battery this morning to start the car, green flag came out and started it, 12.4 on battery before i fired up, then he said 14.2 on charging, anyhow went and bought a exile £54. 3 year guarantee. Went and bought one whilst the car was still running.
Wish i had read your post before buying, ah well.
