Hi all .

Whats best for bhp & power ..

1 .Standalone ecu ( no good as 180 has electric throttlebody ).?
2.buy group b ecu www.peugeotsport-store...oduct=2663
3. Remap the standard ecu ?

Could do with out esp tbh . Air bags no issue as i dont plan on crashing it . Abs for beginners Cool .
Cost of a group n ecu is not far off a remap & can be resold so im not wasting ££.

group n idea im thinking .

I would imagine on a standard engine a remap would be as good as the others.

By far the best would be a standalone/piggy back. As you can control alot more, more easily with one

Anyone know the mapping( bhp) on a Group N ecu ?
Remaps ive found seem very poor .

Piggy back work with vvt fitted ? Didnt think it would .
run vvt off standard ecu i guess .
How would i control ignition advance properly With a piggyback if the vvt is changing off the ecu ?

Most modern standalones have a vvt controller

Most of them just have on off VVT control. You'll need an expensive standalone to have proper vvt control and run twin lambdas and sequential injection like the standard ecu does. They will also have motorised throttle control too.

Cheers for info . Expensive standalone + fitting is worth it for gains made ..

Vems dont do a 180 rc ecu package ?? Shock horror !

190bhp is group n . A. remap may see more . 195.5bhp is best ive found .
