#1: shaking at high rpms and rarely hard to change gear. Author: kinetic, Posted: Sat Feb 07, 2015 3:02 pm ---- I have 206 1.6 16 110 hp.
1- While I am pushing accelerator some more, the is starting to shake, it's not about speed. It occurs on 2-3-4-5. gears.
2- And second problem is about gear change. Normally it is easy to change gear. But sometimes i cant take it to 1.gear and sometimes reverse. I am obliged to apply high force.
Thanks for help.

If it's just the steering wheel then it would likely be it needs the wheels balancing hence why it's more apparent in higher gears as the faster you go the more noticeable it is.
Failing that I would be looking at suspension components and possibility engine mounts to determine if that was the cause of shaking.
Checking the rear axle for bearing failure (excessive negative camber) could be also the cause of the shaking.
There are other alternatives but the above are the easier to rule out for now.

Whole car is shaking. Gear stick is not shaking.
Do you think there is problem at axle?

If the gearstick isn't shaking then it would rule out gearbox mount and likely engine mounts although i would still be inclined to check the engine ones to rule them out.
It could be the rear axle but you would need to check for excessive play and other obvious tell-tell signs. A search on the site will bring you up with enough results on what to look for.
Other than that I'd be checking suspension components making sure all bushes and joints are sounds and ruling things out one by one.
I would really advise you to let a garage look at it if your aren't that mechanically minded as my advise is purely based off guess work without looking it, but the above is my 2 cents for what that is worth.

I will check it as you advised. Could it be based on clucth mechanism or clutch plate?

final drive ie joints shafts wheel bearings
also wheels/tyres
Paybe there is somthing wrong with the gear box if you are loading it and it starts shaking.
Also sounds like your clutch is dragging. It only has to have the lightest pressure on the center plate and you will struggle to engage gears.
tricky to diagnose with out seeing it with my eyes
im sure a mechanic in you local garage will go for a spin with you and see what he says.
