Phase 2 clock/display in phase 1
-> 206 Problems

Got a '99 with the small clock. Basically I want a bigger phase 2 display. Easy to change? As long as the clock works that's all that matters

I don't know but you better get a definitive answer before ordering or there may be trouble ahead.

You also get the problem of mileage (odo) display. A lot of cars will display which ever has recorded highest of ECU and cluster.

So if your car has done 77k and clocks come out of a car that has done 100k your ecu mileage will be ignored and display will show 100k i.e. which ever is highest. Most cars work like this now but not sure about 206.

There are people who advertise to correct this but like most things in life it isn't free.

I think he is referring to the centre console clock at the top.

I believe the clock displays have nothing to do with phase, more to do with connection type ppt20/30/40 so it would involve some wiring changes for upgrading. there was a howto on here before, try searching using them keywords ppt20/ppt30
