Hi,

going to replace the cat myself as old. Saw a few good prices for new ones. But do I need to order any gaskets with it etc?

Cheers

There is a gasket between the manifold & cat, it's a thin metal one.

Check out react catalysts, they are a part of ECP.: www.reactcatalysts.co....c1LnBuZw==

Mine was included as part of the package when I bought the cat converter.

Easy enough to replace yourself. 4 bolts to the manifold, one that holds the pipe to the gear box and then the 2 bolts on the clamp to the centre pipe.

The post cat lambda can be difficult to get out if it's been there a while, so might be better off replacing that at the same time if funds allow.
Buy a fitting kit and it should include the manifold gasket and nuts and the fittings including springs for the centre pipe clamp.
Don't use any exhaust paste on the manifold join. Just use the new compression gasket.

no need for a new gasket,it's metal and you can use it again :),I changed my manifold, and kept the old gasket for both manifold and CAT,and no problems what so ever.
