#1: Rattle - clutch / driveshaft / gearbox? Author: Bigbenj_08, Location: CardiffPosted: Mon Apr 20, 2015 2:09 am ---- When cold and setting off (releasing the clutch), I get a nasty rattle and the car seems to be difficult to get it moving - not sure if slippage.
When warm it seems ok.
Thinking clutch bearing?
I get no noise when the clutch is depressed or fully released.
What are the symptoms of a worn driveshaft?
Car is on the original clutch / gearbox / driveshafts and is at 96k.
Will be calling the garage today as it's p**sing me off!
