#1: Introducing Yev Author: neilneil2000, Posted: Sun May 03, 2015 3:31 am ---- Hello!
I have recently made a somewhat spur of the moment decision to purchase "Yev" my W reg 206GTi. Bodywork is clean but has a few issues that I need to work through.
The aim it to build a dedicated track car, essentially to be faster than my brother's 106Gti!
Purchase date: 26th April 2015
Air filter replacement (K&N panel): 30th April 2015
Spark Plug change (Bosch Super 4): 2nd May 2015
Current Issues:
Pull left under acceleration
Hunting for idle when cold
Clunking from rear suspension over bumps
ToDo:
Brake disc thickness check
Read error codes
Bleed brakes and replace with Dot 5.1
Strip out and sell interior
Replace gearbox oil
Replace engine oil
Replace fuel filter Last edited by neilneil2000 on Sun May 03, 2015 4:00 am; edited 1 time in total

Whats your brother's 106 gti like?
#4: Re: Introducing Yev Author: neilneil2000, Posted: Sun May 03, 2015 12:25 pm ---- Skater: I have tried the left front but haven't got round to the others yet.
Cain: heavily modified, aftermarket ECU, cams, decat, fully stripped out. And I'm a good 3 stone heavier, so both me and Yev need a diet!

I have set myself up a Patina Log of activity here:
