#1: Swapping ECU 1.4 HDI 2003 Author: pug_206_uk, Location: Stoke on trentPosted: Sat May 09, 2015 5:52 pm ---- I am planning to swap my ECU on my HDI 1.4 2003 from another 1.4 HDI 2003.
Is it just the ECU, Chip in the key fob and the Transponder around the ignition barrel all thats needed to do the job.
Is it just plug and play?

The transponder aerial ISN'T coded.
Changing the BSI unit can activate the anti clocking feature on the instrument cluster.
BSI unit needs to be configured correctly for the equipment actually fitted to the car.
