Hey guys I did an engine conversion using a rfr gti but the ecu had some burnt pins so I had to change it. I replaced the ecu with a set out of a rfn not realising the difference. The car goes well but its running rich somtimes an seems really greedy on fuel also a bit lumpy on idle almost like a slight misfire. Can rfn ecu bsi ect be used on an rfr an will I need to fit a second lambda sensor, as my car only has one but have read the rfn has 2 so could this be the problem also eml is on permanent Peugeot planet says no fault found but my mate new snap on comes uo with lambda sensor heating circuit rear ive fitted new plugs (boch platinum) tried a new coil pack an tried a icv from a mates car that runs perfectly any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

Took it my mates garage he specialises in french cars lol he got all the same software an diagnostics as peugeot left him to sort it out only took about an hour .rather than trying to fix it myself I should of just took it him as he always tells me to drop it in an he'll sort it but I never listen lol plus he never charges me except cost of parts wich is trade price so bonus
