#1: Software update Author: MrBSI, Location: What's it to you? ? ?Posted: Sat Jun 27, 2015 1:26 pm ---- Took my 2003 ET3 powered 206 in to main dealer this morning for a software update.
The cost was a very cheap £41.98 including the VAT
The print out the service manager showed me indicated the car has never had a software update since it was built back in November 2003
Now I have a few new BSI features, bug fixes & also a much nicer running ET3 lump as the engine ecu software is also updated to, gear change has improved a lot as the electronic fly by wire throttle action is noticeably vastly improved during gear changes
For £42 im very happy

I think after the last couple of weeks I should take mine for a visit and let it have some TLC.

#4: Re: Software update Author: PezHdi, Location: ShrewsburyPosted: Mon Jul 20, 2015 8:47 am ---- Just a quick question MR Bsi.
If I were to have mine updated would it change any ECU settings or wipe my "Remap" off??
I'm pretty are I no the answer but just to confirm
#5: Re: Software update Author: Steve206, Location: UKPosted: Mon Jul 20, 2015 5:21 pm ---- Map will be gone!
#6: Re: Software update Author: PezHdi, Location: ShrewsburyPosted: Tue Jul 21, 2015 1:46 am ---- Thanks.
It's no problem as I have the map as a file on my laptop for HDi tuning.
I will just reflash the car afterwards.
Won't be getting it done for a little while anyway.
What extra options did you get MR.bsi?
#7: Re: Software update Author: SavageCupcake, Posted: Tue Jul 21, 2015 2:21 am ---- I don't suppose there would be any point in getting it done on a 2000 tu3? Judging by how badly it was treated before I got it I doubt they ever thought of something like this :L

If you intent on keeping it, it's absolutely worth it. (See sig.)
