Recently bought myself a Leon Cupra TDi PD150 and it goes like stink compared to my previous van.But im after something I can have a tinker with and drive next year as I plan on moving out and want something fun/nimble/cheap(within reason) as i won't be doing as many miles.

MR BMW jumped the junction when I was 10 foot away and did this to my astravan which meant I had money to buy this.

I've now got this, bought it for £1900 but had to do camshaft within first week, now the clutch so its more like £3000. Im keeping this for the foreseeable though as I need to get my money back and Insurance has gone up for someone crashing into me?? Mad Mad

thoughts coming to mind are 1.6 16v / gti 138 or 180 as I really liked my 1.1 and I want another 206 which I can modify over the next 11 months. Going for a fast road/track day car although I'm yet to drive on track.

would it always be the 180 you would choose?
