#1: GOING MAD!! P0110, P0300, P0170 Author: dmsempire, Posted: Wed Jul 01, 2015 1:30 pm ---- Okay, so it has a new MAP sensor, cleaned throttle body, including new gaskets and cleaned intake manifold, cleaned idle sensor, replaced post cat O2 sensor, spark plugs, oil and oil filter, air filter, cleaned all injectors, had new crankshaft sensor and knock sensor, the EML went away for a few days and now it's back on with the following errors: P0110 P0300 P0170. I had a look at the exhaust manifold gaskets, they seem to be good, not broken or anything. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS CAR?!?!?!? Can anyone help? Could it be the pre cat lambda sensor at fault? Please help!

#3: Re: GOING MAD!! P0110, P0300, P0170 Author: dmsempire, Posted: Wed Jul 01, 2015 1:52 pm ---- hi, thank you for your message, it's a 2001 51 plate, 1.1 engine, from the looks of it it never had the Pre car sensor replaced. It's covered 125k miles.

P0110 IAT Circuit Malfunction
P0300 Random Misfire
P0170 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)
If the engine has air intake temperature problem, then that can cause the misfire. The unburnt fuel from the misfire will cause the O2 sensor to show a fault.
Check cylinder compressions and get a sniff test done. Any sign of coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant?
Also worth checking the wiring looms and connections.
This is the third TU lump hat has shown these symptoms in the last week and the other 2 have been head gasket failure.
The only problem is that fault codes only point in the possible direction of the fault and item that could be causing an issue. PP was showing on mine air intake temp, inlet manifold pressure, coil pack and injector. New head gasket solved all those. www.206info.co.uk/Foru...63619.html
