#1: after a project car Author: doski, Location: Warwickshire PostPosted: Sun Jul 05, 2015 8:40 am
    ----
currently have a cupra tdi and plan on keeping it for a few years.

Im currently saving to move out and as I'll have more time and room im begining to think about a project/weekend/track car.

criteria is
- must be cheap to purchase as a lot of these projects never get finished (although thats not my intention)
- probably petrol as diesel uprated clutches are silly money for what im thinking of
- must have a potential upgrade path (turbo upgrade/supercharger/good handling)
- must fit me in (im 6'4" and not to slim :D)
- must be fun and impractical as a daily Very Happy

thoughts i've had are

Mk3 golf vr6 (potential turbo conversion in years to come) and I love the shape
Mk3 Ibiza 1.8t
Seat cordoba 1.8t
some old BMW (strip it out and weld diff)
206 gti
