Plastic Trim Swap
-> 206 Problems

#1: Plastic Trim Swap Author: KingCraigx, Location: Lancashire PostPosted: Tue Jul 07, 2015 6:22 am

Hello everyone,

I own a Peugeot 206 1.1 S 04 and the black plastic trims around the edge of the car are a bit scuffed.

I was wondering if I buy the GTI plastics that will match my paint, will they just be a direct fit?

or would any plastic trim fit from any 206, let it be a standard, GTI or CC?

Many Thanks for the help.

The plastic trim from a standard 206/GTI is a direct fit to your 1.1 as long as its a 3 door. If your car is a 5 door, only the plastic trim from the front and rear bumper will fit. The front bumper trim can also be used from a CC, however im not sure about the side or rear bumper trim.

Why don't you spray yours instead?

Thanks for the quick information David1156, put my mind to rest as now I know when looking.

Also Timon2210, I have thought but since I would want the exact colour of my car, it might be easier to purchase these panels second hand.

No worries at all mate, if there's anything else just ask. You're right to try and find second hand panels as they'll be much cheaper than getting the trim sprayed.

Also if you get the trim off a car thats a similar age as yours it won't stick out. I replaced my nearside wing from a car that was just as old and it blended in very well with the rest of the panels.
