#1: Can't pinpoint electrical problem Author: toz34567, Posted: Tue Jul 14, 2015 5:57 am ---- Hi, I'm currently having a bit of trouble pinpointing an electrical problem, and I don't know where to start.
I recently changed my cars stereo, upon fitting it I found out that it had a problem, so I took it back, got my money back and fit the old one back in for the time being, and have had problems ever since for some reason.
I've connected the radio up exactly the same way it has always been connected, however it comes on when a door is opened, and doesn't turn off when the ignition is off, you have to manually turn it off.
I then noticed a problem with the center console clock display unit, every time I turn the ignition on, it resets itself and time is at 00:00.
Not sure where to start, so I'm hoping you guys are able to give me a hand.
